Respons·ability Social Therapy™ (RST)

The Respons·Ability Social Therapy™ (RST) program is a specialized, comprehensive initiative designed to support individuals in developing meaningful social connections. This program is rooted in the philosophy of celebrating strengths and addressing individual needs, fostering skills that enhance relationships, socio-emotional reciprocity, and communication abilities.

All RST members participate in comprehensive initial and annual assessments. These assessments are grounded in scientifically valid and reliable methods, designed to celebrate strengths and identify areas of support.

  • Initial Assessments: These provide a detailed understanding of each individual's developmental, behavioral, and functional abilities. This baseline helps us recognize their unique traits and track their progress over time. The goal is to support the person, not just their diagnosis.

  • Annual Assessments: These allow us to observe growth, tailor supports to evolving strengths and needs, and adjust group and individual interventions accordingly. They also offer families and clients professional insights for educational planning, such as Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and assist in accessing community resources.

Creative Arts Group Therapy

The Creative Arts Group Therapy at Amigos on the Spectrum offers sensory supports, accommodations, and modifications to ensure that every student can participate fully. Ms. Ashley is committed to providing an environment where all learners, regardless of ability, can explore their creativity in a safe and welcoming space.
