SATURDAYS Program

Our SATURDAYS Program offers creative arts therapy through different Saturday Workshops, offering sensory supports, accommodations, and modifications to ensure that every member can participate fully.

All SATURDAYS sessions are insurance billable services.

Talent Development

Clients participate in weekly rehearsals in preparation for a final Showcase Performance. All talents are welcome and encouraged, including things like singing, instruments, stand-up comedy, trivia re: special interests and more.

Acting Workshop

Client can participate in a fun, empowering experience where they rehearse and perform a play for family, friends, and their community. All workshop members meet with their fellow neurodivergent actors for weekly rehearsals, ending with a final performance at Madlab Theaters.

Meet our Acting Workshop Director, Mr. Scott Bantum

With over 35 years in Theatre Education, Scott Bantum has spent his career helping students discover the joys and benefits which can only be found on stage.

He finds the biggest skills and impacts from theatre include:

  • creative problem solving

  • cultural awareness

  • building self-confidence

  • teamwork

  • expanding artistic creativity

Scott Bantum has many years of experience working with neurodivergent students and directing plays throughout his career. Dr. Amigo has known him for a number of years and is very happy to have him directing our Acting Workshop Productions. Mr. Scott brings a wealth of knowledge and creativity, as well as new ideas to the program, working with our Autistic and neurodivergent clients.
